24 Jul Unicorns + Rainbows | Creating Magic with Rodeo & Co. Photography and Valley Flower Company

I have at least six weddings from last year still to blog (oh the anticipation!) and yet I couldn’t help but jump ahead to show y’all a sneak peek of what we were up to this past weekend…

But before we go too far, let me explain. When I was a little girl, I really, really loved unicorns. Like, really…

But, as you may know, unicorns and magic were not as cool as they are now making me a total nerd. Flash forward 25 years to this past winter, and I found myself unexpectedly bonding over a quirky love of all things magical (unicorns included) with Meg Hamilton of Rodeo & Co. Photography and Morgan Perrone of Valley Flower Company. It was right then and there that the concept for this shoot was born. And with amazing contributions from Coral Pheasant Stationery + DesignLiz Washer – Makeup ArtistPleasant Street SweetsEmily Riggs Bridal, Chelsey Laughinghouse (creative assistant extraordinaire,) and our beautiful models, we totally pulled it off.

Taking that nerdy childhood obsession of mine and turning it in to something that reflects my talents as an adult and my chosen career (a career I’ve worked so hard to build) meant so much to me. I am incredibly grateful to the passionate group of incredible vendors that helped me recreate the magic of a little girl’s imagination. And frankly, I never thought it was possible to make rainbows look WAY cooler than they already are, but I think we managed…
